Only State of Florida or Collier County licensed contractors and subcontractors (whichever applies) may perform work inside a unit. In addition to being licensed, all contractors and subcontractors must be insured. Proof of license and insurance must be provided to the Board of Directors before work is started. All owners, contractors, and subcontractors are legally required and responsible to pull the necessary local and state permits.

Construction hours for all work are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. No work is to be performed on Sunday. Owners are responsible for the enforcement of construction hours.

Generally, a unit owner is not permitted to make any alterations to his unit without first submitting plans for same to the board of directors and receiving approval.

Workmen are expected to tidy exterior work areas before leaving for the day.   Equipment for an individual Owner’s job may be stored on or around the Condominium’s common areas only with the approval of the Board of Directors.

Exceptions for emergency work may be approved by a Director.

PLEASE NOTEPursuant to Florida State Statute and the Collier County Ordinance, any person, firm, partnership, corporation or other legal entity who engages in any construction contracting business, or advertises or represents himself/herself as such, must have a county contractor license/certificate of competency or be state-certified contractor. IT IS UNLAWFUL TO CONTRACT WITHOUT A CERTIFICATE OF COMPETENCY!  Licensed contractors must have general liability and workers’ compensation insurance in effect at all times.
